Bethel has been providing Day Camps for children in the Strathroy area for more than 10 years now! Our Day Camps take place during one week in July and one week in August. The program for Grades 1 to 5 runs from 9 am until 4 pm each day. The morning program is held at the church and is similar to Vacation Bible School – with songs, games, snacks, and crafts. In the afternoon, the children go to various places for a wide variety of fun activities (Field Trips), which are closely supervised. The JK/SK program runs from 9 am until 12 noon each day at the church and includes some of the same fun activities that are in our full-day program. It is a great introduction to what a day at Day Camp is like!

As in all of our children’s programs, there is a limit to the number of children to leaders (6 campers to 1 leader), and all leaders must undergo a screening process. Our goal is to provide a fun-filled, action-packed, yet safe week for each camper. Each child will receive a team t-shirt with payment of the fees for the week. Bus transportation is provided, if required, for those living within the Strathroy town limits. The cost for the Day Camp program is very reasonable – almost unbelievable – considering all of the exciting activities included each week! All of the information you need is included in the Day Camp Application Form, which you can pick up in the church office. We are very thankful that we can also provide a program with specially trained workers to help us to accommodate children that have special needs!
