Local Community

At the local level, Bethel is very involved. Our desire is to see people in this community and the surrounding areas experience the love of Christ firsthand. There are many needs in Strathroy (physical, emotional, spiritual, financial, relational) and people can feel isolated – even in the midst of a town our size. We want to transform our community, one person at a time, by showing the love of Jesus in concrete, practical ways – whether it be through free clothing from the Clothesline, learning how to deal with their finances at Financial Peace University, or receiving a free vehicle maintenance check or a bike for every child at the Free Wheelin’ events – or just allowing families a day to relax and have fun together, as in our Canada Day Celebration.
