Primary (Grades 1-5)

This energetic group meets downstairs during the second service only. The students begin with worship in a large group setting (music and dramas), followed by small group teaching time, which seeks to develop positive relationships between peers and leaders. Each small group has its own regular adult leader and is divided by age and gender. There is emphasis on getting to know one another, caring for one another, and praying for one another – coupled with conversation on how they can apply that morning's lesson to their daily lives. Teaching focusses on character building – emphasizing such traits as honesty, trust, wisdom, generosity, service, and confidence - preparing them for the transition into the Jr. High Student Ministry. Parents are required to sign their children in and out of the program, up to Grade 4.
